Vice President of Intelligence

Cody is Vice President for Intelligence at EclecticIQ, where he sets threat research strategy and supports product development. His intelligence career spans nearly 20 years across the commercial and defense sectors. Cody was part of the core United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) Establishment Team tasked with creating the organization from its predecessor elements in 2009, serving as one of the first senior intelligence officers for the USCYBERCOM J2 (Intelligence Directorate) at the National Security Agency in Fort Meade, Maryland. Following a tour in Afghanistan to establish USCYBERCOM's first combat zone operations capability in partnership with the North Atlantic Council’s Combined Joint Psychological Operations Task Force, he was responsible for 70+ analysts while in charge of Information Operations special programs, planning, and policy analysis within the Pentagon's Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency in Washington, DC. In the commercial sector he has led Threat Intelligence for one of the largest financial institutions in the world (Fortune 21), built and launched products for the cybersecurity industry's leading threat intelligence vendors, and managed expert teams supporting global customers in every major commercial region. He is also a U.S. Air Force military veteran and presently resides in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, where he relocated to support EclecticIQ’s development into one of Europe’s leading cybersecurity vendors.

• Cody enjoys following international politics, drama & satire in film and live theatre, science fiction, music of all genres, and traveling outside of work.

• He received "Joint Civilian Service Commendation Award" issued by Defense Intelligence Agency, Combined Joint Operations Center – Afghanistan at ISAF Headquarters. This award is given due to his exceptionally meritorious achievement as Cyber Intelligence Planner. Mr. Barrow acted as the focal point for all intelligence requirements and research for the Expeditionary Cyber Support Element, providing all-source situational awareness to the in-country team embedded within various command components throughout Afghanistan.
